I know, oh how I know, what it is like to accumulate STUFF.
To convince myself that it is all very important and necessary, and
ONE DAY
I will get back around to using it and yeah,
"it's better to have it and not need it, than need it and not have it"
I'm going to call BULLS#IT!
It is far better to use what we have and live in a clutter-free environment!
An environment that leaves us room for love,
creativity
and room for others to join us in that space.
We do NOT show love or respect for items when we toss them
in the attic or garage for years at a time.
Things were not created to just sit in a box and collect dust!
LOVE your things, use them for what they were created for
OR
let them go so they can be loved by someone else.
This is what Unclutter with Love represents.
Loving our things fully, deeply with respect and allowing them to be appreciated for everything they are meant to be!
So, I know how quickly one can gather a lot of STUFF and how that stuff can turn into clutter, aka MY MESS.
For kicks and giggles, let me name a few things I love to do...
All things MUSIC...
(listening, playing, writing, concerts)
Blogging
Jewelry-Making
Photography
Podcasting
Reading
Traveling
Teaching
Vision board Creating
Voice overs
Web Design
Writing...
(books, blogs, poetry, music, love letters, sticky notes)
Now, imagine that each of these interests require some "tools of the trade".
For writing I have an endless supply of sticky notes and notebooks, journals, pens, markers and highlighters.
Books I've never read but held on to for a decade and books I read at least once a quarter, every year, like an anniversary.
There's recording equipment, hardware, software, tools for crafts, storage containers, bins, hard drives, mailboxes, emails, travel documents, suitcases, photographs, trinkets, resources, teaching aids...
so much STUFF aka MY MESS
that it's a good thing I LOVE and am GREAT at organization,
because I really would have a mess on my hands!
